Day 141: Swirls
Another small piece tonight. I think it's Eucalyptus but I'm not 100% sure. I do know that it was a pain to burn. I've included a quarter for scale. All of the burned pieces I've posted lately have been fairly small.
Alternate view. I also turned a small sleeve of Desert Ironwood that fits over the commercial burning pen I received yesterday. Using it tonight it heated up enough that it was uncomfortable to hold. The Ironwood is extremely dense and acts as insulation around the pen. It also increases the diameter of the pen making it more comfortable for me to hold.
