Day 77: Carob II


Continued hollowing the big piece of Carob tonight.  The wood is very dry, very hard, and very brittle.  The checks at the top have now become large voids, I still don't know what I'm going to do with them. Only the top 1 1/2 - 2" have been hollowed.

    Might be time to experiment with some copper, steel, or leather stitching on those voids.
