Day 174: Help hollowing

No photos tonight.  I had a fellow turner over for a lesson on hollowing.  He'd been having problems working on some hollow forms and needed some help.  The session went well and by the end I think we were able to solve his problems, no catches and the piece of Cherry he brought along remained secured in the chuck the whole time.  Tomorrow I think I'll try roughing one of the big green bowl blanks, making a glorious mess in the process.
