I spent about 90 minutes this morning hollowing out hollow forms I started yesterday. They're both hollowed to about 3/4" thick and have been bagged and tagged. I also worked on refining the outside shape a bit but they both have a long way to go.
Top view. I plan to cut the top of this form square and possibly do some carving in the inside of the opening to make it square as well.
Top view. I'm still undecided how much sapwood to leave on this one.
