Day 355: Frass

Bug eaten Palo Verde.  I didn't plan to get this piece mostly finished today but that's what ended up happening. 

I still have to finish the base and pick the frass out of all of the holes.

















This is a previous piece from the same wood.  I lost track of the number of hours I spent removing the frass from this piece, probably 8-10 hours in total.  I sold this piece earlier this year but I still have the other half of this crotch piece sitting in my wood pile.
